Public awareness...an important task
 

My dream to increase the public awareness...and love for creepy creatures and biodiversity

Beside the "pure" scientific activity, I am (and I have always been) also very interested in increasing the public awareness regarding the conservation of amphibians and reptiles, and, in general, the safeguard of biodiversity. For this purpose I always dedicated part of my time to the redaction of popular papers, books, articles, and posters. I am strongly convinced that it is important, not to say crucial, that a researcher does his best to translate his direct experiences into a more comprehensible language. My journalistic activity is therefore aimed to report my field activity, and introduce the importance of these researches.

      • In this section I report some radiophonic interviews dealing with amphibians and conservation. They have been done for Radio24, during the program Il volo delle oche, led by Sylvie Coyaud. During these interviews I discussed about the amphibians of Madagascar, with the help of frog calls recorded in nature and a song of a Malagasy pop singer.
